Your backyard should be an extension of your home, a place where your family congregates and pets play. It should not be home to biting, disease-spreading mosquitoes and ticks.

Here in Maine, mosquito and tick activity can start as early as April and last well into the fall. Signing up for seasonal protection from these biting pests is the best way to protect against mosquito-borne illness including West Nile virus and tick-borne diseases such as the prevalent Lyme disease.

If you’re ready to take back your yard, Pine State Pest Solutions is ready to help! Offering state-wide mosquito and tick control services we are committed to drastically reducing mosquito and tick populations on your property so you can enjoy being outdoors while the warm weather lasts.

Our Mosquito & Tick Control Solutions

At Pine State Pest Solutions, we offer options when it comes to eliminating these pests from your yard. Select the plan that suits your needs the best or give us a call if you have questions.

Monthly Mosquito Treatments (May - Sept.)

While it is impossible to eliminate every single mosquito on your property, Pine State’s integrate mosquito control solution comes close!

This mosquito reduction program includes monthly treatments May through September. Each month, we’ll conduct a thorough inspection of your yard to identify mosquito breeding and resting sites. Once we’ve completed our assessment, we’ll treat areas prone to mosquito activity. This includes trees, bushes, shady areas, under decks, and more.

We’ll also note what conditions are attracting mosquitoes and make recommendations on how you can make your yard less hospitable to these pests.

Seasonal Tick Treatments (Apr. - Oct.)

Because adult ticks are not the only ones that transmit serious disease to people and animals, Pine State’s seasonal tick control targets all stages of their life cycle.

This reduction program includes three services – April/May, June/Jul, and Sept/Oct. During each service visit, one of Pine State’s licensed pest control specialists will thoroughly spray your property focusing on areas where ticks are likely to be lurking. This includes low brush, yards and lawns, and fence lines as well as surrounding fields and woods.

Tick Plus Mosquito Services (Apr. - Oct.)
